Rick's Ukelele Parade | Hood River, OR

It is only fitting that my uncle be honored by a marching parade of all different instruments, colorful patterns, bright umbrellas, and harmonizing voices through the streets of his hometown. So that’s what we did. My uncles “funeral” consisted of a short and sweet service of story-telling and song-singing, a New Orleans parade with over 250 people, ending with great conversation over food (so much food). Below are some images from the parade and time with family so you can get an idea of how loved he was and is.
